So I’ve found with this cake class that I definitely end up with something that’s actually pretty if I plan ahead. Or at least have a vague idea of what I want when I start.

Which is not necessarily how I generally function.

So I’m trying to figure out what I want my final cake for course one to look like. I’m baking Friday and decorating it Saturday night, so I need to figure it out quickly.

So I named the blog today. Not sure if it will stick, but that’s where I’m at right now. My theme for this year is discipline–trying to choose it.

But I also want to become unbridled in how I express myself. To step away from fear and to go for it. I want art to be rampant in my life. For creativity to spark in every aspect of how I live.  To rest in the all-encompassing creativity of my Creator and to revel in it. To learn from it, and let Him be creative through me.

I want my life to be a song that speaks to others about His creativity and joy.

Rampant art. Rampant Life. Rampant joy.
