My sister and her fam are entirely precious. We were able to head to the beach for a photo day earlier this summer. (Considering I had to coerce convince her to let me do a few maternity shots a couple years back, I was pleasantly surprised when she called to set up a date for these.)

I’m pretty pleased with the results, considering it was a windy, rainy day. With a surprising amount of family portraits happening, actually. I learned that my brother-in-law can be counted on to consistently smile throughout the pose no matter what distracts anyone else, and that my nephew will smile if I take the camera away from my face and then make ridiculous faces at him. A tripod is apparently a necessity for pics with him. Live and learn.

My niece is crazy grown up and my nephew is crazy adorable, so it was good times all around. :-)
