Maymont Park in Richmond is rather epic. Waterfalls, Italian & Japanese gardens, a historic house…And that’s just the area that I’ve checked out so far. (I still haven’t managed to tour the house yet.) So on to pictures!

This spot is only about 40 minutes or so from my house and I didn’t know it existed until a few years ago. Since then, I’ve brought quite a few friends here to wander and take pictures.
Historic St. Luke’s Church is in Smithfield, Virginia. According to its website, it is “the oldest existing church of English foundation in America and the nation’s only surviving Gothic building.”
It’s pretty, the grounds and surrounding cemetery are pretty. The tour is interesting and the artifacts inside are cool. The church isn’t used for weekly services anymore, but they still do weddings (one of my friends was married here).
The 1630 Chamber Organ – Beautiful!
Definitely worth a visit, if you’re in the area.
