Last Fall, I was able to design some hand-lettered pieces for an old friend’s wedding. Which was rather lovely, since I wasn’t able to attend, so I still felt like a part of the big day.

Anyway, she saw some of the hand lettering on here and asked me to work on these for her.

A few weeks ago I was second shooter for a wedding. Here are a few of my shots:

I didn’t end up editing a lot of the shots, but I did enjoy being a second shooter. I know I got a few helpful shots and it was a fun night hanging out with a friend. I also added more information to the “someday if I get married things to know/think about” thoughts. ;-) Ah, weddings.

I mentioned this gift a few posts ago, and now that there has been time for the couple to return from the honeymoon and open gifts, I figured I could post. (I don’t think they read this anyway…)

I got the button idea from pinterest, harbinger of all creativity.

A “D” for the last name, and two accompanying quote boards. The left reads “But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. James 3:17,” which has quickly become one of my favorite verses. The right “But for God all things are possible. Mark 10:27.”
