I’m taking a community college photography class this semester. Our first portfolio is supposed to be black and white, but some of the shots are so fun in color, I thought I’d share. Sunday afternoon I visited an old fave, Elizabeth City, NC, to snap some shots where I knew I could get some I would like. (And now I want to go back with a friend for an exploring day again.)
Here are a couple from the ones I’ve edited so far. (Hope cemeteries don’t creep you out—I love them!)
It was a dreary, overcast day. Except for the actual raining portions of time, those are some of my fave days because the colors look amazing!
Cemeteries creep people out?
I love the berries on the gate.
I love wandering round cemeteries too. Even when I’m travelling and exploring, I still love walking past grave stones and reading the names on them. I like imagining what their lives might have been like.
