A couple weeks ago I went to the circus with my fam. WHICH WAS AWESOME. Seriously. I almost went again. If Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey’s DRAGONS comes near you, I highly recommend it.

The costumes, designed by Gregory A. Poplyk, were beautiful and a lot of fun (they also reminded me of He-man and She-ra for some reason). Comments are under the pics.

UntitledThe Ringmaster had a couple costumes, but this one is my fave.

UntitledAndrey and Viktoriya Medeiros hang from their hair. And juggle at the same time. Multi-tasking.

UntitledThe Flying Caceres use a double trapeze. It’s craziness.

UntitledThere was a big section of martial arts/acrobatics with the Shaolins and the Kung Fu Kings. I didn’t take as many pictures, because I like the other stuff more.

this guy came out at the end. It was pretty sweet. It did breathe fire, too.

circus, clown, collage, painting, themed event

This past October, I painted these for a church function, our annual Harvest celebration (Hallelujah Harvest). The Young Adults group did a themed walk-through area, Under the Big Top. I took charge of the decorating, of course. ;-)

These hung in the hallway when you first entered our area:
