Some friends and I spent the past weekend in Pennsylvania and made a stop at the Flight 93 Memorial on Stoystown.
The memorial is architecturally clean, modern and completely fits the surroundings.
Before any of this took place, God filled this grave site with flowers. The pictures don’t really do it justice. The wildflowers were everywhere.
This is probably the most peaceful memorial I have ever been to, making it a fitting resting place for these heroes. Everyone there was quiet and respectful. The volunteers were passionate and well-informed (the one our group talked to had been a part of the investigative team working the site and volunteers in his spare time).
One of my favorite things about the site is that the public is not allowed on the field, but family members of the fallen are allowed out there.
