Again, this is the Metro Richmond Zoo, which is a fun, interactive place to hang out.

You can feed the animals pretty much everywhere, but the giraffe stations are the most popular.  ↑

The air lift ride gives you a great view of the cheetahs and takes you directly over the rhino enclosure.  ↑

So this set of pictures spans a few years. Turns out I never edited too many or uploaded the older shots, so I’m throwing them in here. If you’ve seen any of my zoo posts, you know I love the big cats, so I’m trying to limit the sheer amount of them in this post. Because I took so, so many.

The Metro Richmond Zoo has a large variety of animals, which is awesome! It can be rather difficult to take pics through the enclosures, but the amount of different animals and the interactive feel make it a fun day.

They’ve got a train you can ride inside an enclosure with antelope and gazelle, an air lift that takes you over the rhinos, two walk-in aviaries, and feeding stations throughout the entire zoo. I believe the last time I stopped by they had added a ropes course as well.
